HaptiBraille Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy sets out how we, 4Blind Inc., use and protect your personal data that you provide to us, or that is otherwise obtained or generated by us, in connection with your use of objects, text and voice recognition system, as well as of voice recognition system (the “Services”) using a device for tactile communication based on the Braille principle called HaptiBraille. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refers to HaptiBraille, and ‘you’ refers to you, the user of the Services.

2. Privacy Principles

4Blind has one fundamental principles when it comes to collecting and processing private data — We do not store your data, we transmit it through the application programming interface 4Blind Inc., which, in turn, stores only the data that HaptiBraille needs as a secure and multi-functional data transfer from communicator to phone.

We may also add new support services and functions for blind people who may require separate registration of your data.

3. Terms of Service

This Privacy Policy forms part of our Terms of Service, which describes the terms under which you use our 4Blind, and which are available at www.4blind.com. This Privacy Policy should therefore be read in conjunction with those terms.

4. Representative

The Services are provided by 4Blind, which for the purposes of applicable data protection legislation is the data controller responsible for your personal data when you use HaptiBraille Communicator.

5. Legal Ground for Processing Your Personal Data

We do not transfer your personal data, HaptiBraille process it on the ground that such processing is necessary to further our legitimate interests — providing effective and innovative Services to our users;

6. Retention

Unless stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy, the personal data that you provide us will only be stored for as long as it is necessary for us to fulfill our obligations in respect of the provision of the Services.

7. Third Party Payment Services

Due to the fact that 4Blind doesn't store any credit card details or transaction information, it is impossible for us to handle complaints or cashbacks – any disputed payments are the responsibility of the bot developers, payment providers, and banks that participated in the exchange.

We will review and may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy on this page https://www.4blind.com/haptibraille-privacy-en.
